A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

SnakeMe is a small open-source snake game. You can play alone, with up to three friends (two players on the keyboard, and two joypads), or against computer "intelligence" (eight players maximum). You have also the choice between many snakes and levels, and you can even download more, or design your own ones!

I programmed this game in 2000, and with assets (visuals, levels) contributed by 3 friends of mine (Cécile Grivaz, Lynda Metref, Gabriel Walt).

You can read more about the game and download it on its homepage. It is open source, and the provided binaries are antiques, but it should compile and run on 64 bits platforms as well.
